Student Spotlight: Lauren Webb

Lauren Webb

Lauren Webb did historical research and created a virtual exhibit on Utah women's experiences during World War I. The exhibit is being utilized by Better Days, a nonprofit that creates and disseminates educational material on Utah women's history.

According to Lauren, “Bennion Scholars was the best thing I did during my undergrad. I've always wanted to apply my academic studies to community building, and Bennion Scholars gave me the resources and hands-on opportunities to learn how to do that.”

After graduating, Lauren started an internship at the First Ladies National Historic Site and Museum working in community engagement and volunteer management. The Bennion Scholars program prepared her for this opportunity.
