  • BENN 1020 Pathways to Community

  • Engagement (3 credits)

  • 2 CEL courses of your choice (6 credits)

  • BENN 5XXX Community Engaged Scholars Capstone (1 credit)

Community Engagement Certificate

Declare a Community Engagement Certificate and lead the change through a project designed and implemented along with a community partner and a faculty mentor!

  • 21 Credit hours including a Capstone Methods and Practicum to support you and the project you lead

  • 50 to 100 hours of community engaged work dedicated to your project

What is the CELLT?

The Community Engaged Learning Leadership Team (CELLT) is essential to the success of the CEL Student Programs at the U.

Members work closely with the CEL Student Programs Manager to:

  • Support current Scholars and Certificate students through peer-mentorship

  • Cultivate a sense of community in the programs

  • Promote the programs across campus and in high schools

  • Assist with overall program development and administrative needs
